My Kawaii Weekend ๐Ÿ’–✨

This weekend was really fun and super kawaii!!! I spent it being a tourist in my own city. I took my mom down to Chinatown to get foot massages for her birthday! We're both the year of the monkey and since this Chinese New Year is year of the monkey, why not go celebrate it together in Chinatown! We made it a fun day trip and just walked around exploring with no schedule or plans. We got amazing Chinese chocolate crepes and bubble tea, went to the Hello Kitty store- which was a pink HK heaven, and much more. My mom even was feeling adventurous and tried sushi for the first time& liked it! We got matching "year of the monkey" necklaces to remember our fun day. Here are some photos from our Chinatown adventures๐ŸŽŽ

Then the next day we went to the H Mart in Upper Darby. The store is full of all sorts of Asian food and products! There were all sorts of Japanese candy, live crabs and fish, mochi, and so many more different foods. Check out these pics of just a few of the TONS crazy products at the mart! If you're ever feeling adventurous and looking for something different to do, I see recommend you go check this place out.

It was so neat, it was like spending the weekend exploring another culture in my own backyard! SO much hello kitty too, which was a plus๐Ÿ’• I have so many new Korean beauty products and Japanese candies to try out this week!

Christmas Fun for Everyone!

I spent the chilly afternoon at Six Flags Great Adventure Holiday in the Park yesterday, to get into the holiday spirit. Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, and toy soldiers gathered around a ginormous decorated tree, and greeted everyone entering the park! Fake snow was falling down, as Christmas carols played throughout the park to welcome you into the whimsical wonderland. The entire park was transformed into a Christmas oasis with Christmas lights, decorated trees, and holiday characters all over for photo-ops. Families gathered to keep warm and to roast marshmallows in the s'mores fire pits and sipped hot chocolate. Many other delicious holiday treats such as Christmas themed funnel cakes and yuletide brews were available throughout the park as well. You could eat, drink, and be merry while watching the holiday concert in the center of the park with specials guests like Santa Claus and Rudolph. Be careful with your hot chocolate intake though if you plan on jumping onto adrenaline- r...

Kicking off Summer from Spruce Street Harbor Park to South Street!

Last night I attended the Spruce Street Harbor Park kickoff party, which was my official kick off of Summer!  I got to sip watermelon margaritas and eat ice cream from Franklin Fountain with my best friend๐Ÿ’• on the waterfront, sitting in the sand, with music playing, and minus the crowds... it was a perfect Thursday night.  After we sampled the foods that will be featured at Harbor Park this season, and walked along the waterfront some, we took a little impromptu trip over to South Street to check out Eye's Gallery. I have been following Eye's Gallery on Instagram for a while, and have always been captivated by all of their colorful, cultural rich posts, and have been dying to go in-person.  Eye's Gallery is a beautiful little gem hidden in the middle of South Street. The gallery is a majorly co lorful bazaar and museum filled to the brim with Indian & Latin American folk art, jewelry & handmade gifts. One thing is cooler than the next as you walk ...

Top Drug Store Secrets to Glowing Skin!

Hi beauts, In cosmetics 101, it is taught that it all begins with your skin care. If you want your makeup to come out as flawless as Beyoncรฉ, you need a clean healthy canvas to paint on. Also it is smart to be preventative with good skin scare regimes while your young, to prevent harsh aging effects on the skin!  I have been swearing by the Clinique 3 step system for a few years now. My skin is sensitive and combination, and after trying so many products, I finally found that Clinique makes my skin look best with barely any breakouts. I have expensive taste...but hey, soft skin too! Whenever I have any free time, there is a 99.9% chance I'm entrenched in different beauty and fashion websites or browsing through Pinterest. I came across various lists from big name beauty magazines for the top drug store skin care products. Since I recently ran out of my Clinique system, I figured I should give some drug store products a try just to see what the latest and greatest are. Who know...
