2 Fashion MUST HAVES to Spice Up Your Fall Wardrobe!

Fall is a perfect time for trying out new styles and trends when it comes to fashion, because we are making that inevitable transition from summer weather to cooler temps! As I began to drown myself in fashion magazines to get educated on any new trends for this fall, two items stood out to me: A (faux!) leather jacket and an over sized army jacket. I noticed how so many celebrities in young Hollywood whose style I get inspired by, like Vanessa Hudgens, PLL star Ashley Benson, and Rihanna (just to name a few), have been seen rocking these two items with their street style of lately. Once I get something in my head I HAVE to buy it! Some call it a shopaholic, I call it helping the economy while staying trendy- its a win/win. :)
So naturally after focusing in on the leather jacket and military jacket, I went on a hunt to find them. The great thing about these two jackets is that they're solid in color so they can easily be added to any outfit without worrying about clashing! Both jackets instantly kick up the "cool factor" of the outfit you're wearing. A leather jacket gives any outfit an edgy rocker feel. This might sound silly, but a leather jacket automatically gives you a little extra boost of confidence too! If you don't own one, definitely buy one and try it out! You'll be amazed how it can make you feel just a little extra fearless when you go out on a Saturday night for drinks with your friends! A military jacket is another simple way to add some extra style points to your outfit. Its a perfect item to wear to school because of its neutral color so its not "too much" and its a functional third piece for when it gets chilly in the classroom. You can keep warm while looking cute and comfortable in class!
There you have it, two inexpensive pieces to add to your wardrobe this fall to keep you trendy and to take your outfit to the next level. In the photos below you can see how I took my simple outfit of denim shorts and a basic black tee and jazzed it up with one easy step of adding one of these jackets. These two jackets make it effortless to stylishly transition from summer into fall this season!

Trendy, Tribal, and Totally Easy!

Who else is into the nail art trend!? With this trend, the crazier the nails the better! Every celebrity tries to top each other on the red carpets with their wild art on their nails! I'm no manicure professional, but I'm always trying out new design ideas on my claws! It's a cool trend because you get to showcase your personality and have your own unique mani!! Tonight I created a simple tribal design on my nails with bright colors, that is sure to catch people's attention for starting back to school! Here's how you can re-create this simple, trendy, statement tribal look: First I painted my nails with a base color of China Glaze" in the color Flip Flop  (this summer's HOT color! It's been flying off the shelves!) and then painted an accent nail with "Essie" in the color turquoise& Caicos.   Then I took four polishes: a lime green ("POP" loud lime), a purple ("ULTA" tutu cute), a yellow nail art polish, and a ...

I've been really loving rompers the summer! They have so many cute ones out there, and they're totally cute and effortless! I got this one at Marshall's. I paired it with simple white wedges and some neon arm candy, to go with the neon embroidery at the neckline of the romper. It's perfect for a summer night out with your girlfriends!  What's your favorite fashion staple to rock this summer? Let me know in the comment section below!! Xoxo

Kicking off Summer from Spruce Street Harbor Park to South Street!

Last night I attended the Spruce Street Harbor Park kickoff party, which was my official kick off of Summer!  I got to sip watermelon margaritas and eat ice cream from Franklin Fountain with my best friend💕 on the waterfront, sitting in the sand, with music playing, and minus the crowds... it was a perfect Thursday night.  After we sampled the foods that will be featured at Harbor Park this season, and walked along the waterfront some, we took a little impromptu trip over to South Street to check out Eye's Gallery. I have been following Eye's Gallery on Instagram for a while, and have always been captivated by all of their colorful, cultural rich posts, and have been dying to go in-person.  Eye's Gallery is a beautiful little gem hidden in the middle of South Street. The gallery is a majorly co lorful bazaar and museum filled to the brim with Indian & Latin American folk art, jewelry & handmade gifts. One thing is cooler than the next as you walk ...
