Top 5 Fashion Killers at the 2017 Met Gala

On the first Monday in May, the Met Gala red carpet is where the wildest and most daring fashions are on full display.....except this year is recieving backlash for being a snoozefest!

Last night's Met Gala was celebrating the opening of the Costume Institute’s exhibition, “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.”

Mostly all of the celebrities who took the carpet decided to go more simple and elegant, which was not the point of this red carpet!? I don't mean get too crazy with your look, like holding your cut off dreads in your hand as an accessory... cough cough...

... but at least take a little more risk with your outfit. Most people looked more Oscars worthy than Met.

With the theme being Comme des Garçons, if you're going to go simple, at least have some decency and slap a little heart with eyes somewhere on your outfit!😉

Thankfully there were a few fashion risk takers who dressed according to theme and killed the red carpet, leaving us all with heart eyes, praising their efforts!

Here were my top five fave looks from last night's Met Gala:

Hailee Steinfeld was working it in Vera Wang

Chrissy Teigen  taking a risk in custom Marchesa, while John Legend kept it classic in Burberry.. such a hot couple!

Zendaya SLAYING in Dolce & Gabbana
Swooning over perfect Blake Lively's amazing Atelier Versace gown

Last but not least, THE QUEEN who won the Met Gala: Rihanna in Comme des Garçons

Girls Night Out at Philly Fashion Week 2017!

Friday night, after dining on gourmet cuisine at Fine Palate, my mom, sister, and I attended the Runway I fashion show for Philly Fashion Week! PFW is always a super fun event, where all of the chicest and over the top fashionistas in the city, all meet up in one place. Friday night's show took place at beautiful Dilworth Park in the heart of Philadelphia. The list of talented designers goes on and on, one design more gorgeous than the next. Hot trends featured for this season were preppy mini skirts, sheer tops, sailor's hats, cold-shoulder blouses, and high- waisted trousers for women. Bold prints were showcased for men, from blazers to pants.  I definitely left the show feeling inspired and wanting to go on a major shopping spree to revamp my entire wardrobe with Fall's hottest trends! All I need is the fall weather to come along one of these days, so I can finally pair stylish trousers and a bold red lip for a night out on the town. ...

My 1st Delco Beautorial: Ooh La La!

Bonjour! Sorry it's been  a while since I last posted! I was feeling very French inspired today! It could have just been because my sweater says "ooh la la" on it, or the fact that I've been randomly craving french macarons for the past 24 hours.. Who knows! On my way home from work I made a quick detour to Crêperie Béchamel in Wayne to pick up some macarons! Randomly getting French macarons on a Thursday... Who do I think I am Blair Waldorf? In my defense, it's almost the weekend and I've made it this far in the week without oversleeping for work a single day, so like the saying goes "Treat yoself!" It just so happens I recently purchased three of the NYX macaron lippies and I've been dying to try them out. This season is all about rocking unusual and bold lip colors so I wanted to try 3 out of the ordinary shades! I bought the colors Rose (Barbie pink), Earl Grey (light blue), and Pistachio (pastel green). So to go along with my Fren...

Christmas Fun for Everyone!

I spent the chilly afternoon at Six Flags Great Adventure Holiday in the Park yesterday, to get into the holiday spirit. Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, and toy soldiers gathered around a ginormous decorated tree, and greeted everyone entering the park! Fake snow was falling down, as Christmas carols played throughout the park to welcome you into the whimsical wonderland. The entire park was transformed into a Christmas oasis with Christmas lights, decorated trees, and holiday characters all over for photo-ops. Families gathered to keep warm and to roast marshmallows in the s'mores fire pits and sipped hot chocolate. Many other delicious holiday treats such as Christmas themed funnel cakes and yuletide brews were available throughout the park as well. You could eat, drink, and be merry while watching the holiday concert in the center of the park with specials guests like Santa Claus and Rudolph. Be careful with your hot chocolate intake though if you plan on jumping onto adrenaline- r...
