Top 5 Fashion Killers at the 2017 Met Gala

On the first Monday in May, the Met Gala red carpet is where the wildest and most daring fashions are on full display.....except this year is recieving backlash for being a snoozefest!

Last night's Met Gala was celebrating the opening of the Costume Institute’s exhibition, “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.”

Mostly all of the celebrities who took the carpet decided to go more simple and elegant, which was not the point of this red carpet!? I don't mean get too crazy with your look, like holding your cut off dreads in your hand as an accessory... cough cough...

... but at least take a little more risk with your outfit. Most people looked more Oscars worthy than Met.

With the theme being Comme des Garçons, if you're going to go simple, at least have some decency and slap a little heart with eyes somewhere on your outfit!😉

Thankfully there were a few fashion risk takers who dressed according to theme and killed the red carpet, leaving us all with heart eyes, praising their efforts!

Here were my top five fave looks from last night's Met Gala:

Hailee Steinfeld was working it in Vera Wang

Chrissy Teigen  taking a risk in custom Marchesa, while John Legend kept it classic in Burberry.. such a hot couple!

Zendaya SLAYING in Dolce & Gabbana
Swooning over perfect Blake Lively's amazing Atelier Versace gown

Last but not least, THE QUEEN who won the Met Gala: Rihanna in Comme des Garçons

#Blessed! It's a beautiful day when Jane Iredale and GM Collin Skincare goodies arrive at your front door. If you know me I am a huge beauty product junkie, and always obsessing over the latest and greatest trends in girl world. This season has been all about glowing, glowing, glowing. From clear dewy skin to highlighter on fleek, everyone is posting selfies looking like a glazed donut. I was so excited to receive this beauty box filled with skincare products from GM Collin such as, activated charcoal whitening toothpaste, revitalizing marine collagen facial spray, and instant radiance under eye patches. Healthy, happy skin is so important to create a flawless base for your makeup! Also in the box were products from Jane Iredale's fall collection, which is nothing short of fabulous. Jane outdid herself from the shimmery rose, nude, and cherry red glosses to the highlighter trio that will take your glow to the next level. Between the skin care, tooth paste, and makeup I

Dîner en Blanc

Last night I attended the traditional D î ner en Blanc in Philly and it was simply beautiful. Over 5,000 attendees gathered with their white tables and chairs, dressed to impress in white head to toe, to eat, drink, and be merry with friends at this year's "secret location" Franklin Square. People munched on glittery fairy floss and sipped on champagne and Sauvignon Blanc, while dancing the night away and taking rides on the carousel. The night was fun, French, and fabulous! Inspired by a French tradition, places all over the world hold Dîner en Blanc each year and our city of brotherly love has grown to be the largest in attendance.  One outfit was more unique and angelic than the next, some added white body glitter, while others added a fancy hat to complete their white looks...some even added angel wings! Each guest had their own je ne sais quoi! Besides the outfits being show stoppers, guests adorned their table tops with the finest decor from crystals, to fairy l
