Dîner en Blanc

Last night I attended the traditional Dîner en Blanc in Philly and it was simply beautiful. Over 5,000 attendees gathered with their white tables and chairs, dressed to impress in white head to toe, to eat, drink, and be merry with friends at this year's "secret location" Franklin Square. People munched on glittery fairy floss and sipped on champagne and Sauvignon Blanc, while dancing the night away and taking rides on the carousel. The night was fun, French, and fabulous!

Inspired by a French tradition, places all over the world hold Dîner en Blanc each year and our city of brotherly love has grown to be the largest in attendance.

One outfit was more unique and angelic than the next, some added white body glitter, while others added a fancy hat to complete their white looks...some even added angel wings! Each guest had their own je ne sais quoi! Besides the outfits being show stoppers, guests adorned their table tops with the finest decor from crystals, to fairy lights, to fresh cut flowers. Last night was a Parisian dream.

The chic evening was definitely one I will always remember. I highly recommend you jump at the chance to attend the event one year just to see what it is all about. Dîner en Blanc once again proved that we live in one of the coolest cities in the U.S.! I do not know how you could ever be bored with the magical city of Philadelphia at your fingertips. 😊

Girls Night Out at Philly Fashion Week 2017!

Friday night, after dining on gourmet cuisine at Fine Palate, my mom, sister, and I attended the Runway I fashion show for Philly Fashion Week! PFW is always a super fun event, where all of the chicest and over the top fashionistas in the city, all meet up in one place. Friday night's show took place at beautiful Dilworth Park in the heart of Philadelphia. The list of talented designers goes on and on, one design more gorgeous than the next. Hot trends featured for this season were preppy mini skirts, sheer tops, sailor's hats, cold-shoulder blouses, and high- waisted trousers for women. Bold prints were showcased for men, from blazers to pants.  I definitely left the show feeling inspired and wanting to go on a major shopping spree to revamp my entire wardrobe with Fall's hottest trends! All I need is the fall weather to come along one of these days, so I can finally pair stylish trousers and a bold red lip for a night out on the town. ...

Christmas Fun for Everyone!

I spent the chilly afternoon at Six Flags Great Adventure Holiday in the Park yesterday, to get into the holiday spirit. Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, and toy soldiers gathered around a ginormous decorated tree, and greeted everyone entering the park! Fake snow was falling down, as Christmas carols played throughout the park to welcome you into the whimsical wonderland. The entire park was transformed into a Christmas oasis with Christmas lights, decorated trees, and holiday characters all over for photo-ops. Families gathered to keep warm and to roast marshmallows in the s'mores fire pits and sipped hot chocolate. Many other delicious holiday treats such as Christmas themed funnel cakes and yuletide brews were available throughout the park as well. You could eat, drink, and be merry while watching the holiday concert in the center of the park with specials guests like Santa Claus and Rudolph. Be careful with your hot chocolate intake though if you plan on jumping onto adrenaline- r...

Trendy, Tribal, and Totally Easy!

Who else is into the nail art trend!? With this trend, the crazier the nails the better! Every celebrity tries to top each other on the red carpets with their wild art on their nails! I'm no manicure professional, but I'm always trying out new design ideas on my claws! It's a cool trend because you get to showcase your personality and have your own unique mani!! Tonight I created a simple tribal design on my nails with bright colors, that is sure to catch people's attention for starting back to school! Here's how you can re-create this simple, trendy, statement tribal look: First I painted my nails with a base color of China Glaze" in the color Flip Flop  (this summer's HOT color! It's been flying off the shelves!) and then painted an accent nail with "Essie" in the color turquoise& Caicos.   Then I took four polishes: a lime green ("POP" loud lime), a purple ("ULTA" tutu cute), a yellow nail art polish, and a ...
