Kicking off Summer from Spruce Street Harbor Park to South Street!

Last night I attended the Spruce Street Harbor Park kickoff party, which was my official kick off of Summer! 

 I got to sip watermelon margaritas and eat ice cream from Franklin Fountain with my best friend💕 on the waterfront, sitting in the sand, with music playing, and minus the crowds... it was a perfect Thursday night. 

 After we sampled the foods that will be featured at Harbor Park this season, and walked along the waterfront some, we took a little impromptu trip over to South Street to check out Eye's Gallery. I have been following Eye's Gallery on Instagram for a while, and have always been captivated by all of their colorful, cultural rich posts, and have been dying to go in-person. 

 Eye's Gallery is a beautiful little gem hidden in the middle of South Street. The gallery is a majorly colorful bazaar and museum filled to the brim with Indian & Latin American folk art, jewelry & handmade gifts. One thing is cooler than the next as you walk through all three levels of the gallery. Each unique piece placed throughout the place has it's own story to tell. 

 Eye's gallery is definitely a site to see, and I recommend next time you're in the city you stop in to visit! I know I will definitely be back to do some shopping, and maybe purchase a pair of funky silver earrings or a Frida Kahlo tee. 

 It was a little impromptu early celebration of Cinco De Mayo with a couple of margs at Spruce Street and the Mexican folk art at Eye's Gallery.  😊

 Every trip I ever take into Philly offers a unique and fun little adventure. I love visiting city staples as well as discovering new gems throughout our city! Philadelphia has it's own culture within itself, and I am in love with every part of it!

Perfect Pool Day Essentials!

Summertime and the livin is easy! With a high of 80 degrees and no schedule for the day, I decided to lounge poolside with my main girl Pearl. It was the perfect day of resting and relaxation! Instead of working in the office, I got to work on my tan. My soul was at ease and my mind was clear, as the sunshine beamed down on my face all day long:) See, not all Mondays are awful! Battle Of The Seasons: Team Summer or Team Fall?

    As I laid by the pool today soaking up the last rays of the summer, it really began to sink in how the sunny warm days are now getting limited! Fall is coming quicker than we think! Most people are excited for the change of weather, the crunchy leaves, hot chocolate, pumpkins, and hoodies. I'm a summer girl at heart, so it's such a drag that its officially coming to a close. You can find me in class daydreaming about laying on the beach with the salt air blowing in my hair. I'm laying out as much as I can to quick lock in a dark tan before I have to bundle up for the chilly weather. There is just something peaceful and relaxing about laying by the water with the sun beating down on your skin!
