Spring Has Sprung!

Finally the weather has become nicer, and spring has truly, honestly, literally, sprung! I know we want to be surrounded by gorgeous May flowers, but hopefully April keeps its showers to a minimum. It's time to go outside, breath in the fresh air, and lay in the sun until your freckles peak out.

 I love spring, because it starts getting darker later, the sunsets become so dreamy and breathtaking. Also the change in season always inspires me to try something new, go on more adventures, and take time to admire the simple beauty the Earth has to offer.

 And don't forget the other great things about spring like the endless supply of Easter candy, cute bunnies, and pretty flowers.

Christmas Fun for Everyone!

I spent the chilly afternoon at Six Flags Great Adventure Holiday in the Park yesterday, to get into the holiday spirit. Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, and toy soldiers gathered around a ginormous decorated tree, and greeted everyone entering the park! Fake snow was falling down, as Christmas carols played throughout the park to welcome you into the whimsical wonderland. The entire park was transformed into a Christmas oasis with Christmas lights, decorated trees, and holiday characters all over for photo-ops. Families gathered to keep warm and to roast marshmallows in the s'mores fire pits and sipped hot chocolate. Many other delicious holiday treats such as Christmas themed funnel cakes and yuletide brews were available throughout the park as well. You could eat, drink, and be merry while watching the holiday concert in the center of the park with specials guests like Santa Claus and Rudolph. Kicking off Summer from Spruce Street Harbor Park to South Street!

Last night I attended the Spruce Street Harbor Park kickoff party, which was my official kick off of Summer!  I got to sip watermelon margaritas and eat ice cream from Franklin Fountain with my best friendđź’• on the waterfront, sitting in the sand, with music playing, and minus the crowds... it was a perfect Thursday night.  After we sampled the foods that will be featured at Harbor Park this season, and walked along the waterfront some, we took a little impromptu trip over to South Street to check out Eye's Gallery. I have been following Eye's Gallery on Instagram for a while, and have always been captivated by all of their colorful, cultural rich posts, and have been dying to go in-person.  Eye's Gallery is a beautiful little gem hidden in the middle of South Street. Mikey P's private VH1 Dating Naked Premiere Party in Philly!

I attended the premiere party with my friend September 4, for the new VH1 show "Dating Naked," hosted by one of the cast members who's a Philly native, Mikey P! Mikey knew how to throw a banger, at club Roxy/ Bamboo Bar. There was a dance floor, drinks flowing, and different DJ's and performers killing it throughout the night. The guest list included all of his friends and family, well known Philly radio DJ's and a variety of reality stars from VH1 shows. All the guests mingled and the celebrity guests posed on the red carpet as they showed up. Then as 9pm rolled around, everyone gathered around all the televisions set up, to watch Mikey P's big debut on "Dating Naked." After we all watched Mikey choose which girl was his soul mate, by geting to know them um.. "inside and OUT," the music got loud and everyone broke into their best moves on the dance floor!
