Philly Fashion Week 2016!

This year I was fortunate enough to attend yet another successful Philly Fashion Week. It was a fun night out with one of my bffs, because what compliments an outfit better than a friend by your side:) aww how cheesy LOL!

The crowds came out to watch the show, and they were dressed to impress- which I wouldn't have expected anything less. We're in Philly, where anything goes and creativity takes the cake when it comes to fashion! The fashions on the runway were magnificent, innovative, and inspiring. Even NYFW creator, Fern Mallis, came out for the event and sat front row gazing upon Philly's unique style.

My favorite from the show was D Leak's unique take on fashion through bow ties! While watching the models with masks covering their faces walk down the runway, I thought to myself, how cool is that,to get to display your unique idea of strictly showcasing designer bow ties during PFW! Another runway favorite was Todd Anthony's collection. I love how super edgy the outfits were. After all that is a major key of fashion week, to be on the cutting edge and take risks!

Christmas Fun for Everyone!

I spent the chilly afternoon at Six Flags Great Adventure Holiday in the Park yesterday, to get into the holiday spirit. Tweety Bird, Bugs Bunny, and toy soldiers gathered around a ginormous decorated tree, and greeted everyone entering the park! Fake snow was falling down, as Christmas carols played throughout the park to welcome you into the whimsical wonderland. The entire park was transformed into a Christmas oasis with Christmas lights, decorated trees, and holiday characters all over for photo-ops. Families gathered to keep warm and to roast marshmallows in the s'mores fire pits and sipped hot chocolate. Many other delicious holiday treats such as Christmas themed funnel cakes and yuletide brews were available throughout the park as well. You could eat, drink, and be merry while watching the holiday concert in the center of the park with specials guests like Santa Claus and Rudolph. New Things Happening at Summerfest 2018! Fun For Everyone!

Sunny days have us feeling like summer is just around the corner! Looking for a fun way to kick it off? Summerfest at Blue Cross RiverRink opens this weekend, and it supplies heaps of fun for the whole family! Penns Landing, more specifically Harbor Park, is a classic go- to spot for date night, hanging out with a group of friends, or a family outing. Most of the time you visit there though, you are just waiting around to snag a hammock or bummed because life size chess and Jenga are taken... well not this year. Summerfest at Penns Landing is supplying countless options for fun! Besides the delicious food choices, beer garden, roller skating, and mini golf, you can now also enjoy a ride on the Ferris wheel overlooking the water and roller rink, ride the carousel, or play numerous carnival games. Kicking off Summer from Spruce Street Harbor Park to South Street!

Last night I attended the Spruce Street Harbor Park kickoff party, which was my official kick off of Summer! I got to sip watermelon margaritas and eat ice cream from Franklin Fountain with my best friend💕 on the waterfront, sitting in the sand, with music playing, and minus the crowds... it was a perfect Thursday night. After we sampled the foods that will be featured at Harbor Park this season, and walked along the waterfront some, we took a little impromptu trip over to South Street to check out Eye's Gallery. I have been following Eye's Gallery on Instagram for a while, and have always been captivated by all of their colorful, cultural rich posts, and have been dying to go in-person. Eye's Gallery is a beautiful little gem hidden in the middle of South Street.
